New on Sports Illustrated: Oklahoma Names Spencer Rattler As Their Starting QB

Spencer Rattler beats out Tanner Mordecai and Chandler Morris for the starting QB position.

The "Spencer Rattler" era is officially underway at Oklahoma. The redshirt freshman from Phoenix was announced as the Sooners' starting quarterback on Tuesday.

Rattler beat out Tanner Mordecai and Chandler Morris for the starting position. Rattler has only played three games, yet he’s already a favorite to win this year’s Heisman Trophy.
